Administrative Assistant/Marketing Coordinator
SKILLS: excellent organizational, phone and written/verbal communication skills; Microsoft Office, Photoshop and QuickBooks software; extreme attention to details.
DESCRIPTION:
This position will report to the CEO, supporting the administrative needs of the organization while learning the role of marketing coordinator. Previous marketing experience is a plus. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and beyond. The position is generously paid with an hourly wage, plus potential monthly individual bonus and a yearly group bonus. We will be investing a great deal into training this person, and we are willing to flex the work schedule around family/child care needs if this is a requirement for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and complete files
- Assist with document formatting
- Data entry
- Compile reports in Excel
- Manage vendor relationships with print shop and courier service
- Assemble and mail marketing campaigns on time
- Edit pre-written monthly newsletter
- Canvass local area businesses for new sales leads
- Call purchased marketing lists to verify accuracy of information
- Call past due accounts
- Handle travel arrangement
- Plan events
- Participate in invoicing process
- Very basic bookkeeping
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

High energy level
- Complete attention to detail
- 1+ years verifiable successful experience in an administrative or marketing capacity
- Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word
- Basic skills in Microsoft Excel
- Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent software
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or equivalent software
- Basic math skills
- Ability to learn basic terminology of the IT industry
- Professional demeanor and initiative to learn and take ownership of position
- Ability to think for yourself and solve problems
- Work independently, as well as thrive in a team environment
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Quickly learn new technology
- High school diploma
- Previous marketing experience is a huge plus
- Website management experience in a huge plus
- Copywriting experience is a huge plus
